The Modoc Braves softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host CORE Butte Lynx to 2 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Modoc moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Braves host Tulelake (Tulelake, CA) to clash with the Honkers in a non-league game on Monday, March 18. The Honkers come into the game with a record of 2-4. Tulelake lost 17-3 in their recent non-league game against Burney (Burney, CA)

In their next game, the Lynx clash with the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 16. CORE Butte will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, CA).
