Siegel Stars (Murfreesboro, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Creek Wood Red Hawks (Charlotte, TN), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Stars now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Blackman for a 4A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Siegel will face a Blaze squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Brentwood (Brentwood, TN). The Blaze record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Creek Wood falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Waverly Central (Waverly, TN) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Waverly Central won 15-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairview (Fairview, TN)
