David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Vidalia Vikings (Vidalia, LA), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas More for a 4A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. David Thibodaux will face a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Vidalia falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Vikings host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to face the Storm in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 5-13. Delta Charter won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Negreet (Negreet, LA)
