Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eisenhower for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Friday, March 29.

With the loss, Hermiston falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR) to face the Buckaroos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Buckaroos enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Pendleton won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR)
