Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The FIGHTING KNIGHTS now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Hillsdale will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Los Altos falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to battle the Spartans in a De Anza challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Mountain View lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)
