Utah High School Softball - Hurricane bounces Uintah

March 16, 2024: Vernal, UT 84078

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) and the host Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), witnessed Hurricane's softball squad prevail over Uintah by a count of 16-3.

The Tigers now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Snow Canyon for a 4A Region 9 match on Tuesday, March 19. Hurricane will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Uintah moves to 3-3 on the season. The Utes host Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT) to meet the Thunder in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. The Thunder go into the match with a record of 3-2. Westlake lost 5-2 in their recent non-league match against Farmington (Farmington, UT)
