Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maxwell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Mt. Shasta will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16.
