In Saturday's non-league contest, the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), by a margin of 14-6.
With the triumph, Warren Township moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Blue Devils host Fremd (Palatine, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 20. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 2-0.
In their next game, the Trevians play the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 20. New Trier will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
