Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Klein Oak for a 6A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Waller will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Porter falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Dayton (Dayton, TX) to battle the Broncos in a 5A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 19-7.
