Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) and the host Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL), witnessed Tishomingo County's softball squad tip Waterloo by a count of 6-0.

The Braves now sport a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ingomar for a non-league match on Monday, March 18.

With the loss, Waterloo moves to 8-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to meet the Indians in a 1A Area 16 match on Monday, March 18. The Indians go into the match with a record of 11-6. Cherokee lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN)
