Pennsylvania High School Baseball - J.P. McCaskey sneaks past Reading

In Friday's non-league game, the host J.P. McCaskey Tornados baseball team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Reading Red KNights.

The Tornados (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA). The Blue Streaks enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Manheim Township was tipped by Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA), 6-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Red KNights face the Berks Catholic Blue Jays (Reading, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 25. Reading will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Jays enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 9-3 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, PA).
