Arizona High School Baseball - Fairfax defeats Apache Junction

The Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) baseball trounced the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 10-2 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Stampede encounter the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 21. Fairfax will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ).

The Prospectors now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Shadow Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, March 18. Apache Junction will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Matadors record now stands at 3-4.
