In Thursday's non-league game, the host Clover Blue Eagles baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the South Point Red Raiders.
The Blue Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Richland Northeast was overwhelmed by Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 14-2, in a non-league game.
The Red Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the Big South 3A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Stuart W. Cramer overcame North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 18-1, in a non-league game.
