The Cocke County Fighting Cocks crushed the host South Greene Rebels baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Fighting Cocks now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carter for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Cocke County will face a Green Hornets team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Green Hornets record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Rebels face the Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 18. South Greene will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 4-3 non-league win over West Ridge (Blountville, TN).
