In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Herscher Tigers baseball team scored a nice 11-0 victory over the Dwight Trojans.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Crete-Monee was overwhelmed by Shepard (Palos Heights, IL), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
