In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Omaha South Packers baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Omaha North Vikings.
The Packers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Central City/Fullerton/Centura (Central City, NE). The Kernels go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Central City/Fullerton/Centura tipped Thurston-Cuming County (Bancroft, NE), 13-5, in a non-league game.
