The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) and the host Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC), saw Porter-Gaud's lacrosse team achieve victory over Academic Magnet by a margin of 16-11.
The Cyclones (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.
The Raptors (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks enter the 4A challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Oceanside Collegiate Academy was overwhelmed by Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 18-6, in a league challenge.
