The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Silver Bluff Bulldogs to 1 in the Fighting Green Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Fighting Green Hornets face the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 contest, on Friday, March 18. Aiken will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Airport (West Columbia, SC).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wade Hampton for a AA Region 5 contest on Monday, March 21. Silver Bluff will face a Red Devils team coming off a 13-0 league win over Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-2.
