In Thursday's league battle, the host Hampton Hornets soccer squad scored a good 9-1 win over the North Clayton Eagles.
The Hornets (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 0-3 record.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion notched a victory over McDonough (McDonough, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.
