In Thursday's non-league battle, the host New Trier Trevians soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Prospect Knights.
The Trevians (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Palatine was nudged by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
