The Munford Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Cleburne County Tigers to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Munford improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Lions host Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL) to clash with the Volunteers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 19. The Volunteers come into the game with a record of 1-1. Central of Clay County won 9-4 in their recent non-league game against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 21. Cleburne County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL).
