In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Glass Hilltoppers.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fluvanna County for a Jefferson test on Tuesday, March 22. Albemarle will face a Flying Flucos squad coming off a 16-8 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 26. Glass will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
