Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 22-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foley for a 7A Area 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Daphne will battle a Lions squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Briarcrest Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Arlington (Arlington, TN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
