Dupo Tigers (Dupo, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metro-East Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21.
With the loss, Bunker Hill falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL) to battle the Knights in a Prairie State challenge on Friday, March 25. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
