Nevada High School Softball - Virgin Valley bounces Desert Pines

The Virgin Valley Bulldogs routed the visiting Desert Pines Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 15-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Bulldogs (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID). The Broncos go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Blackfoot was routed by Malad (Malad, ID), 9-6, in a non-league battle.

The Jaguars now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Moapa Valley for a 3A South - Mountain battle on Monday, March 21. Desert Pines will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.
