Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontier for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. Redwood will face a Titans squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Titans record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Kerman falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Fresno (Fresno, CA) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Fresno lost 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
