The Mooresville Blue Devils softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting West Stanly Colts to 1 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-4. South Iredell lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)

In their next game, the Colts clash with the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 18. West Stanly will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
