The Queen Creek Bulldogs routed the visiting Shadow Ridge Stallions softball squad by a final score of 8-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder go into the 6A Central challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Desert Vista beat Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Shadow Ridge falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Stallions host Westview (Avondale, AZ) to battle the Knights in a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, March 18. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Westview lost 18-7 in their recent non-league challenge against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ)
