The Sheldon Irish baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Churchill Lancers to 4 in the Irish non-league victory on Friday.
The Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Wolverines go into the 6A Pacific match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Willamette was overwhelmed by South Eugene (Eugene, OR), 10-0, in a league match.
The Lancers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against West Albany (Albany, OR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, West Albany was overwhelmed by Summit (Bend, OR), 4-0, in a non-league match.
