In Friday's non-league game, the host Mendota Aztecs baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Sanger West Hornets.
The Aztecs (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Minarets (O'Neals, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Minarets by Sunnyside (Fresno, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
