California High School Baseball - Santa Maria loses to More

March 17, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93454

The Santa Maria Saints baseball team (Santa Maria, CA), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting More Knights (San Jose, CA)

The Knights now hold a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunn for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 18. More will confront a Earwigs team coming off a 23-8 non-league win over Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA). The Earwigs record now stands at 5-2.

Next, the Saints confront the Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) in a Ocean outing, on Saturday, March 18. Santa Maria will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Conquistadores go into the outing with a 8-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA).
