The Buchtel Griffins topped the host Bishop Ready Silver Knights basketball team by a final score of 60-50 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Griffins face the Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league game, on Sunday, March 19. Buchtel will attempt to move on its 22-6 season record. The Longhorns enter the game with a 25-3 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Chaminade-Julienne (Dayton, OH).
With the defeat, Bishop Ready moves to 28-1 on the year.
