The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA) and the host Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), saw Pacific Ridge's volleyball squad nip Clairemont by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Pacific Ridge upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Firebird travel to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 22. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-8. San Dieguito Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA)

The Chieftains now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host High Tech SD for a City Central bout on Wednesday, March 22. Clairemont will play a Storm squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Storm record now stands at 9-5.
