The Piedmont Panthers crushed the host Anson Bearcats baseball team by a tally of 17-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Porter Ridge for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 21. Piedmont will face a Pirates team coming off a 0-0 non-league Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Bearcats face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 21. Anson will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
