California High School Baseball - Homestead edged by Menlo-Atherton

The Menlo-Atherton Bears got by the host Homestead Mustangs baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menlo School for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. Menlo-Atherton will face a Knights team coming off a 8-6 league loss to San Mateo (San Mateo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.

Next, the Mustangs face the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, March 22. Homestead will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-6 non-league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA).
