Colorado High School Baseball - Piedra Vista can't hold off Pueblo West

The Pueblo West Cyclones baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers to 5 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Friday.
The Cyclones (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Uintah edged Farmington (Farmington, NM), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Piedra Vista falls to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Grants (Grants, NM) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Grants won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM)
