The Uintah Utes got by the host Rio Rancho Rams baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Utes now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo West for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. Uintah will face a Cyclones team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-0.
Next, the Rams face the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 18. Rio Rancho will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Grants (Grants, NM).
