The Willow Spring Storm triumphed over the visiting Cape Fear Colts lacrosse team by a score of 17-6 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Willow Spring upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Storm travel to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to play the Pirates in a Greater Neuse River match on Monday, March 20. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 6-3. Corinth Holders won 11-6 in their recent league match against South Garner (Garner, NC)
With the defeat, Cape Fear drops to 5-2 on the season. The Colts travel to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a United 8/All American/Sandhills match on Monday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 5-2. Terry Sanford lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC)
