The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 17-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Sabres travel to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to battle the Copperheads in a non-league outing on Monday, March 20. The Copperheads go into the outing with a record of 2-6. Catawba Ridge won 17-6 in their recent league outing against Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC)
With the defeat, South Iredell drops to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a Greater Metro/Queen City outing on Tuesday, March 21. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Mooresville won 13-10 in their recent non-league outing against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
