In Friday's non-league contest, the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), by a margin of 16-3.

With the triumph, Brighton moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bengals travel to Bonneville (Idaho Falls, ID) to play the Bees in a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. The Bees come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
