Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kamiak for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.
With the loss, Bellevue falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Timberline (Lacey, WA) to battle the Blazers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. The Blazers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Timberline lost 17-6 in their recent non-league challenge against WF West (Chehalis, WA)
