Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Federal Way for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20.

With the loss, Curtis falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Olympia (Olympia, WA) to battle the Bears in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Monday, March 20. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Olympia won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA)
