Texas High School Softball - Hondo topped by Devine

March 17, 2023: Devine, TX 78016

The Devine Warhorses softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hondo Owls to 2 in the Warhorses non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Devine moves its record to 18-3 on the year. The Warhorses travel to Somerset (Somerset, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, March 21. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 4-16. Somerset won 12-11 in their recent league game against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX)

In their next game, the Owls clash with the Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, March 21. Hondo will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Cowboys come into the game with a 14-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over George West (George West, TX).
