The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ), saw Kofa's softball squad nip San Luis by a count of 6-1.

The Kings now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckeye for a 5A Central Valley match on Monday, March 20. Kofa will face a Hawks squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, San Luis falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Sidewinders travel to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ) to face the Champions in a non-league match on Monday, March 20. The Champions enter the match with a record of 6-7. Cesar Chavez lost 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Skyline (Mesa, AZ)
