Louisiana High School Softball - St. Thomas More bounces North DeSoto

St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grant for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. St. Thomas More will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Neville (Monroe, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, North DeSoto falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) to face the Eagles in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Evangel Christian Academy lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)
