Mississippi High School Softball - Puckett nudges North Pike

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) and the host North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS), saw Puckett's softball squad nip North Pike by a count of 2-1.

The Wolves now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they host Collins for a 2A Region 8 match on Monday, March 20.

With the loss, North Pike falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, March 24. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-4.
