Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belmont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. Tishomingo County will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Sulligent falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Lamar County (Vernon, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 9 challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lamar County won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL)
