In Monday's non-league game, the host West Allegheny Indians baseball team scored a close 8-2 victory over the Central Valley Warriors.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Ellwood City held off New Brighton (New Brighton, PA), 19-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Warriors face the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 19. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 12-12 non-league Ambridge (Ambridge, PA).
