The Cesar Chavez Champions baseball squad (Laveen, AZ), was overwhelmed 17-3 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ)

With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hawks host Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Wolves in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 19. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Chandler won 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ)

The Champions now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kofa for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 20. Cesar Chavez will confront a Kings squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Kings record now stands at 6-5.
