Texas High School Baseball - Freer nipped by Dilley

Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX), 9-8 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Dilley advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Hondo (Hondo, TX) to battle the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 28 match on Friday, March 21. The Owls come into the match with a record of 7-4. Hondo won 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Poth (Poth, TX)

The Buckaroos now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Premont for a 2A Region IV District 32 match on Tuesday, March 18. Freer will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Bruni (Bruni, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-7.
